We're looking for an Engineering Manager who wants to step up into genuine strategic ownership - not just deliver projects, but shape how they're won, delivered and remembered.
RASP Australia is a 100% Indigenous-owned and operated engineering and design consultancy, and we're backed by Red Invest Capital Holdings (Red Invest), a group which employs 250+ personnel within a diverse, growing portfolio of businesses.

Role Purpose: The Engineering Manager owns the strategy and delivery of RASP Australia's large-scale infrastructure projects accountable for budgets, performance and outcomes, not just execution.
You'll take ownership of RASP Australia's engineering business, with support from the board and other senior leaders across the group.
This role shapes how projects are won, run and remembered,



while leading multidisciplinary teams and upholding RASP's standards for technical excellence and genuine community impact.

What You'll Bring: Mandatory Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical or related discipline) Current Australian work rights Essential Experience: 8–12 years' engineering experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or project management / direct management capacity Demonstrated experience managing large-scale infrastructure, construction,



or industrial projects Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasting and commercial performance Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams Strong knowledge of Australian engineering standards and compliance requirements Risk management and project governance expertise Leadership & Capability: Exceptional stakeholder engagement and client relationship skills Strong decision-making and problem-solving capability Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives Ability to mentor, develop and performance manage engineering teams High-level written and verbal communication skills Desirable: Experience in Indigenous engagement or community-focused project environments Background in Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) project delivery Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or eligibility highly regarded What RASP Offers: Competitive market salary and a performance bonus / incentive, reflective of the seniority of this role A leadership position with real strategic influence - not just a title Career growth within a respected consultancy, backed by the strength and scale of the Red Invest Capital Holdings Group A cooperative, purpose-driven culture where good work is noticed and good people are backed Ready to lead work that matters?
