Permanent Full-time (37.5 hours/week) / part time considered

Help turn quality into something people can use
Relationships Australia WA is strengthening its Quality Team to provide integrated leadership and support across quality, practice governance, organisational risk, assurance and work health and safety.
Our Practice Governance Lead and one Quality Practice Partner have been appointed, and we are now recruiting an additional Quality Practice Partner to expand the team's capacity to work alongside leaders, services and practitioners.
The new Quality Team is designed to move beyond a traditional compliance-focused approach.
We want quality systems that help people make good decisions, strengthen professional practice, identify risks early and improve outcomes for clients and communities.
About the role
The Quality Practice Partner will work across the organisation rather than being confined to a single service portfolio.
You will build trusted relationships with leaders and teams, help translate standards and frameworks into practice, support services to identify and address gaps, and connect learning from incidents, complaints, supervision, audits and client feedback.
The role will balance support and constructive challenge.
It will help services solve problems while maintaining clear operational accountability.
Key responsibilities
You will:
partner with operational leaders and teams to embed RAWA's quality-management arrangements;
support implementation of practice frameworks, standards and organisational requirements;
assist services to understand and respond to accreditation and contractual expectations;
contribute to practice reviews, audits and service-evaluation activities;
identify gaps, themes and improvement opportunities;
support the development and monitoring of improvement plans;
connect learning from complaints, incidents, supervision, feedback and assurance activity;
facilitate process mapping and service-improvement activities;
support the development of transparent procedures, response protocols and escalation pathways;
contribute to communities of practice and organisational learning;
help identify workforce capability and professional-development needs;
provide informed, practical advice while maintaining appropriate role boundaries; and
contribute to organisation-wide quality, practice and assurance reporting.
About you
You will bring:
experience in quality improvement, practice development, service governance, accreditation or a related field;
sound knowledge of professional practice within community services, counselling, mental health, family services or a comparable environment;
the ability to interpret standards and translate them into practical service arrangements;
experience working constructively with leaders and practitioners;
strong facilitation, analytical and problem-solving skills;
the confidence to raise concerns and provide constructive challenge;
strong written communication and documentation skills;
the ability to work across multiple services and balance competing priorities; and
a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
Experience in practice audit, continuous improvement, safeguarding, supervision, complaints, incidents or workforce capability will be highly regarded.
What will help you succeed
You will understand that sustainable quality improvement is achieved with people, not done to them.
You will be curious,
credible and pragmatic.
You will be able to build relationships without losing professional independence and help teams move from identifying a problem to implementing and sustaining a practical response.
As the team is still being established, you will also be comfortable contributing to evolving systems, role boundaries and ways of working.
Why Join Us:
Salary $105,000 to $ 112,848 per annum pro rata plus superannuation
A supportive and inclusive workplace
Non-for-profit salary packaging up to $18,550
