As our Product Specialist in Materials Handling, you'll be the go-to expert across our national network, shaping how we win and grow in this specialist market.
You know materials handling inside out - forklifts, telehandlers, chain blocks, hydraulic cylinders.
Now imagine putting that expertise to work at scale, as a Subject Matter Expert you will support our sales team and client base with specialist knowledge of 'Lift, Shift & Materials Handling' products - forklifts, telehandlers, chain blocks, hydraulic cylinders etc.
Backed by the industry leader in hire and the largest fleet in the sector, you'll have the opportunity to build solid commercial and technical expertise while growing your influence in a specialist market.
You'll develop your sales capability, expand your materials handling knowledge, and gain valuable hands-on industry experience in a team that is genuinely invested in your success.
A day in the life: Partnering with local sales teams to build product awareness and win new business through genuine technical expertise Building and deepening relationships with key customers across your region Growing revenue within the materials handling market by activating and expanding existing client relationships Staying across industry trends and helping position Coates as the go-to specialist in materials handling Running hands-on training and upskilling sessions that lift capability across sales and operations teams What we're looking for Proven success in managing a range of Materials Handling products - primarily forklifts (gas, diesel, rough terrain) & telehandlers.
