NSW area.Casual positions available.Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECG's and Holter monitoring.Skills and ExperienceVenepuncture experience essential with vacutainer methodMinimum 6 months venepuncture experience is required using the vacutainer method.Collection of blood and other samples from patients in residential homes and aged care facilities.Experience in ECGs and Holter monitorsProcessing of Pathology SpecimensAbility to work alone and as part of a busy teamClerical duties and Process paperworkCurrent NSW driver licenceAbility to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patientsAbility to provide dedication to patient care and service deliveryAbility to demonstrate organisation and problem-solving skillsAbility to priorities and work under pressureComply with Work Health and SafetyTraining will be provided for ECGs and Holter monitor procedures.It is a requirement that a current working with children check, and police clearance is provided upon commencement of employment.Please be advised that only short-listed candidates will be contacted.Only applicants with the right to work in Australia may apply.
