Doncaster Hill Dental is seeking a Trainee Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis in Doncaster East, VIC ****.

As a Trainee Dental Assistant, you will work alongside experienced dental professionals, gaining practical knowledge and hands-on experience in a supportive clinical environment.
This role is fundamental to our practice operations, ensuring smooth patient interactions and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality care.Key responsibilitiesAssisting dentists during clinical procedures and patient treatmentsPreparing treatment areas, sterilising instruments, and maintaining infection control standardsTaking dental radiographs (X-rays) under supervision and ensuring proper positioning and techniqueProviding chairside support during procedures, including suctioning, passing instruments, and managing patient comfortRecording patient information and treatment details accurately in clinical recordsGreeting patients, managing appointments, and maintaining a welcoming reception environmentEducating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructionsMaintaining sterilisation protocols and adhering to infection control proceduresRestocking treatment rooms and ensuring clinical areas are organised and cleanSupporting the dental team in general administration and practice management tasksWhat we're looking forThis role is best suited to someone who is new to dental assisting or has up to 1 year of experience.
No dental experience is required, as full on the job training will be provided.We are looking for someone who is based locally or lives near the Doncaster East area,
