Applicants should have comprehensive production and editing experience in a daily news environment and be capable of operating under tight deadlines, applying multimedia to help convey information in articles.

The role will suit an energetic leader who can manage content and plan coverage of major events.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is excellent organisation, professional presentation and good time management.The candidateThe ideal candidate will have outstanding news judgement and knowledge across general news, sports, finance, and global affairs, plus a flare for 'the quirky' and what piques human interest.
They will have a positive and engaging approach to leadership, high-level editing skills and a solid understanding of media law.
They will collaborate with other business units and liaise directly with external stakeholders as necessary.
The person will be a team player with the ability to work flexibly and independently when required.
