Job Description
As a Camco Mechanical Apprentice, you will work towards earning a Certificate III qualification, specialising in one of the following trades:
* Mechanical Trade (Fitting and Machining)
* Mechanical Trade (Fitting)
* Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding)
* Electrician Trade (Electrical Fitting)
What You Will Do:
* Develop a wide range of mechanical engineering skills through workplace-based learning.
* Stay committed to safety and personal wellbeing in all aspects of your work.
* Complete tasks with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
* Adhere to company uniform and PPE requirements (even at TAFE).
* Work with a supportive supervisor to tailor your learning program and gain practical, hands-on experience.
* Complete a mechanical aptitude test and undergo a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.
* Hold a current Australian driver's licence for potential travel to work sites.
