About the role
Based inChristchurchorWellingtonthis is a rare opportunity to step into a high impact role, where your clinical understanding and relationship building skills will directly shape outcomes for customers and patients across the Southern region.
We're looking for a motivated, self-starting Product Specialist to join ourUrology & Women's Health team, reporting to the Business Manager.
You will take full ownership of your territory, balancing autonomy with strong team connection, and play a meaningful role in driving sustainable growth.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and execute territory plans to exceed sales targets
Build strong relationships with relevant specialists, charge nurses and procurement teams
Provide clinical/procedural case support using your technical expertise
Identify new business opportunities and confidently close sales
Work autonomously while collaborating closely with a high‐performing national team




What you bring:
You may come from a clinical background or already be in medical device sales — either way, you're hungry to grow and ready to step into a specialist role.
Customer & patient focused – dedicated to meeting the needs of healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet timelines
A self‐driven, curious mindset with a problem‐solving approach
A collaborative spirit and willingness to support wider team goals
Requirements
3–5 years' experience in medical devices, pharma, or relevant clinical practice
Ability to understand complex medical procedures and translate technical knowledge effectively
An understanding of NZ hospital systems, procurement, and regulatory processes
Valid NZ driver's licence
NZ residency or eligibility to work in New Zealand
You will be provided with a competitive base salary, including a bonus based on deliverables, a car allowance and fuel card, and medical insurance.
