Testing and Commissioning Electricians - Goulburn River Solar FarmNX Blue are currently recruiting for experienced, proactive, safety conscious Testing and Commissioning Electricians for a Client working on the Goulburn River Solar Farm near Merriwa NSW.
This will be a DIDO role and fully accommodated.
Travel via company supplied bus to and from site from Both Sydney central and Newcastle central.Roster: 14:7 roster / DIDO, 10 hour daysLocation: Meriwa NSWLength:12 Month Contract with possible extensionStart– ASAP - MayKey Responsibilities:Conduct commissioning, functional testing, and energisation of HV electrical systems, such as control systems, switchgear, transformers, and protection relaysInterpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and test proceduresInspect and troubleshoot LV systems, electrical faults and non-conformancesCalibrate, verify and validate instrumentationEnsure all work complies with AS/NZS ****, AS ****, and other applicable standardsMaintain accurate test records and commissioning documentationLiaise with engineers, package managers, and operations personnel to coordinate commissioning activitiesAdhere to all site safety, environmental, and quality proceduresNX Blue are currently recruiting for experienced, proactive, safety conscious Testing and Commissioning Electricians for a Client working on the Goulburn River Solar Farm near Merriwa NSW.

and energisation of HV electrical systems, such as control systems, switchgear, transformers, and protection relaysInterpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and test proceduresTest insulation resistance, continuity, polarity.Inspect and troubleshoot LV systems, electrical faults and non-conformancesCalibrate, verify and validate instrumentationEnsure all work complies with AS/NZS ****, AS ****, and other applicable standardsMaintain accurate test records and commissioning documentationLiaise with engineers, package managers, and operations personnel to coordinate commissioning activitiesAdhere to all site safety, environmental, and quality proceduresKey Skills & Qualifications:NSW Electrical Licence or equivalentHV Switching Operator certificationCurrent CPR/LVRWhite CardValid Drivers licenseDemonstrated experience in high-voltage installation and commissioningStrong understanding of protection and control systemsHigh level of commitment to safety and complianceExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and within a commissioning teamExperience:Minimum 5+ year's experience in mining, renewable energy, or high-voltage infrastructure, including AC and DC chargersProven experience preparing and executing High Voltage switching including preparation of switching programsFamiliarity with commissioning documentation and pre-commissioning processesUnderstanding of isolation and permitting systemsAll applications are treated with the strictest confidence.NX Blue is an equal prospect employer and support diversity in the workplace.
