The Opportunity
We're looking for a passionate and experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (Proficient or Advanced level) to join our team, delivering high-quality behaviour support services to participants across Melbourne.
This role offers flexibility, with a mix of client-facing and remote/telehealth work available depending on location.
You will have the opportunity to manage your own schedule while being supported by a team-oriented and experienced leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive behaviour support assessments
Develop Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
Undertake Functional Behaviour Assessments
Support the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices
Collaborate with participants, families, support teams and stakeholders
Deliver training and coaching to support workers and families
Maintain high-quality documentation and reporting in line with NDIS requirements
Participate in clinical supervision and quality improvement activities
About You
You will be registered as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission and possess:
Experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support services within the NDIS environment
Strong understanding of restrictive practice legislation and reporting requirements
Excellent assessment, report writing and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously while remaining connected to the wider team
Strong commitment to person-centred and evidence-based practice
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Working with Children Check
Current driver's licence
