Japanese Teacher (Primary and Secondary)
$86,600 - $124,725 a year
Full time, Permanent
Commencement Date: As soon as practicable
Location: Southern Cross Catholic College - Townsville QLD
Salary Range: $86,600 - $124,725 pending experience + Super (pro rata)
We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Japanese Teacher with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers to teach primary and secondary students.
This is afull time, permanentposition commencingas soon as practicable.
You'll join a supportive team of committed teachers who work together in partnership with the parent community to create the best possible learning experience for every student.
Your understanding of contemporary teaching practices, and your ability to adapt and support a diverse range of learners, will help every child feel included, valued, and confident.
In your classroom, you'll spark curiosity and a love of learning by designing engaging lessons, setting transparent expectations, and continually reflecting on your practice to keep improving.
You'll use a range of assessment tools to understand each student's progress, celebrate their growth, and give meaningful feedback that helps them thrive.
Guided by Catholic values, you'll embrace the school's mission, prioritise student safety and wellbeing, and help create a welcoming, supportive environment where every learner feels they belong.
