You will be instrumental in helping establish workflows, standards and food service excellence as part of the commissioning phase.In this role, you will collaborate closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team—including Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Personal Carers, General Practitioners, Allied Health professionals, residents and families—to deliver restaurant‐quality dining experiences tailored to the needs of older adults.About YouYou are a qualified Chef with experience spanning fine dining through to dynamic aged care environments, bringing creativity,
strong leadership and an unwavering commitment to excellence.You will be valued for your ability to:Lead and mentor a food services teamDevelop innovative menu plansManage budgets and costings effectivelyBuild solid relationships with industry suppliersDevelop and implement high‐quality food safety and compliance processesSupport residents with varied dietary needs, including textured and modified dietsBring a positive, solutions‐focused attitude to a commissioning environmentTo Be Considered, You Will BringCurrent trade qualifications and Food Safety Supervisor qualification (HLTSS*****), issued within the last five years (Essential)A current Police Check (within 12 months) (Essential)Strong knowledge of catering principles and food service operationsDemonstrated experience leading and managing a catering teamExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsCommitment to OH&S; and continuous improvementExperience developing menus within set budgetsAbility to manage clinically required dietsA positive can‐do attitudeBenefits & Work CultureAs a purpose‐driven, not‐for‐profit organisation, we value and support our staff.
