Cooking Class Teachers / Passionate Smoking BBQ Chefs | BBQ School BrisbaneThe BBQ School Pty Ltd – Indooroopilly QLDThe BBQ School Pty Ltd is seeking passionate Cooking Class Teachers and American Smoking BBQ Chefs to join our team in Indooroopilly, Queensland.
This is a contract position, where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional BBQ and smoking techniques to our customers in an engaging and interactive format.The role is ideally 10 to 15 hours per week, normally over 3 weeks per month and includes a prep half day or day for receive and store plus organization in advance of the weekend classes and a full day of classes, normally on a Sunday and at times both Saturday and Sunday.
We also offer mid-week corporate events that we run normally 1 to 2 per month.What you'll be doingConducting hands-on cooking classes and demonstrations to showcase the art of BBQ and smoking techniquesProviding expert guidance and education to customers on various BBQ and smoking methods, equipment, and recipesPreparing and cooking high-quality BBQ dishes and smoked meats in front of customersMaintaining a clean and organized work environment during and after cooking classesCollaborating with the team to continuously improve the customer experience and class offeringsWhat we're looking forExtensive experience as a professional chef or cook,
