This part-time Nurse
Practitioner position in Northam ED
(40 hours per fortnight) offers the best of both
worlds — the pace and complexity of emergency care, with the option

You'll work at an
advanced practice level, providing expert assessment, diagnosis,
care and clinical intervention for patients and families, while
using your scope to influence safe, timely emergency
care.
About the
OPPORTUNITY
This position provides
advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis, care and intervention to
patients and families within the scope of practice of a Nurse
Practitioner in emergency care.
This role develops and maintains
evaluation processes of patient outcomes relevant to the Nurse
Practitioner scope of practice.
To be successful in
this role, you will have...
Advanced clinical
experience in the assessment and treatment of illness and
injury relevant to the role.
Well-developed clinical
problem solving skills including conceptual and analytical
ability.
Excellent interpersonal,
verbal and written communication skills including negotiation
skills.
Knowledge of relevant
legislative and health regulating Acts including legislative
obligations.
Experience in quality
improvement, its practical application in meeting patients'
needs and its relationship to strategic
development.
Eligible for / or in
possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers
licence.
