About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team in Western Australia.
The role will be based in our Perth office with some travel required on site occasionally.
This role will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant document management across the project lifecycle.
You will be responsible for maintaining document control systems and ensuring all project documentation is stored, tracked, and distributed in line with UGL's management systems and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and control commercial and technical project documentation
Coordinate document control activities including scanning, filing, and distribution of drawings and correspondence
Maintain and update document registers with a high level of accuracy
Ensure compliance with document control processes and procedures
Maintain the controlled Document Management System (DMS)
Distribute controlled copies of approved documents and drawings to project stakeholders
Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure document integrity and version control
About You
Demonstrated experience in a Document Controller role, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or energy projects
Strong understanding of document control systems, procedures, and workflows
Proficiency in document management systems (e.g. Aconex, TeamBinder or similar)
High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based project setting
