About the opportunity
The Project Coordinator role sits within a small and dynamic Projects Team that supports the delivery of high quality improvement initiatives at Medical Panels.
Reporting to the Projects Officer, this role will undertake a wide range of project coordination tasks with an emphasis on the collation, analysis, and recording of data to support the Projects Team in the delivery of key outcomes in a complex and fast paced tribunal workplace.
Key accountabilities
Advise the Projects Officer on matters requiring attention and then implement the decisions.
Assist with research and benchmarking to inform program and project planning and implementation.
Build and sustain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support the development and implementation of projects.
Contribute to the development of new administration, management and reporting processes, as required.
Manage project administration tasks, including the maintenance of shared folders, calendars, email accounts, templates and other relevant documents.
Prepare project presentations, reports, meeting agendas, minutes, and follow up actions.
Provide administrative support and project coordination, including planning, organising, monitoring, coordinating, tracking and evaluating of initiatives and outcomes.
Provide proactive advice on project risks and outcomes.
This position requires occasional availability for afterhours and weekend work to support training sessions, events, and other ad hoc operational needs.
Medical Panels is an operational environment therefore, office attendance is required during all training for this role.
Hybrid work,
as per WorkSafe's policies, will commence upon successful completion of training program.
About you
As an experienced Project Coordinator, you bring exceptional organisational skills and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
You are a highly analytical professional with advanced capabilities in data analysis, Excel and Power BI.
You are a confident communicator who builds rapport quickly and fosters productive, trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Additionally, you will possess the following skills and experience:
Experience in a similar role, with demonstrated skills to ensure the smooth delivery of all project coordination duties.
Experience in the preparation of project plans, reports, evaluations, and presentations.
Demonstrated ability to work with limited guidance to support the delivery and implementation of new projects across a variety of areas.
Able to conduct limited research and prepare reports to support project initiatives
Ability to develop new and innovative ways of approaching problems and/or opportunities, particularly when using data analysis and research tools.
Experience using Power BI and Excel Pivot Tables to prepare and collate data, evaluations, and reports.
Experience in the development and/or management of a SharePoint site.
