The RoleWorking with individuals living with intellectual and/or psychosocial disabilities, you will:
Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments
Develop, implement and review Positive Behaviour Support Plans
Deliver person-centred behaviour support and therapeutic interventions
Work collaboratively with families, support teams and key stakeholders
Provide training, coaching and clinical guidance using evidence-based approaches
Support participants to achieve meaningful goals and positive outcomes
About You To be successful, you will have:
Registration as a Core Behaviour Support Practitioner or eligibility to meet NDIS requirements
Experience completing functional assessments and behaviour support plans
Qualifications in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Nursing, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Developmental Education or a related discipline
A strong commitment to person-centred practice
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
A current WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
