About the Role
We have a great opportunity for enthusiastic Perioperative Enrolled Nurses with experience in Anaesthetics and Recovery to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 48 hours per fortnight.
Monday to Friday, no public holidays and no on call shifts.
Duties And Responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
Support the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
Ensure the patients, day surgery and equipment are ready for surgery
Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
Enrolled nursing tasks within scope of practice
Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
Complete and accurate patient documentation
About You
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world‐class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare.
You will have:
Solid experience in Perioperative Enrolled Nursing with experience in Anaesthetics/ Recovery
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in the below specialties desirable

Albany Day Hospital is an accredited day hospital located in the Great Southern region of WA, with 1 operating theatre, 3 pre‐op and 3 post‐op beds.
