COLD STORAGE - HIGH REACH FORKLIFT OPERATORS
Ourclient, a Leader in theCold Storage and Distribution industrycurrentlyhave vacant positions available forAll round Storeperson /Forklift Operatorto join their team:
DAY & AFTERNOON SHIFT VACANCIES located in Smithfield and Pemulwuy.
Transport & Logistics sector, therefore previous experience within a fast-paced working environment is essential.
Although you will be operating a Forklift this will also be a hands-onrole assisting with the day to-day operations which will include picking / packing, put away, replenishment, loading and unloading trucks and assisting within the warehouse.
IMMEDIATE START for the right applicants.
Morning shifts start times are5:30AM / $35 per hour OT + allowances.
Afternoon shifts start times are 1:30PM / $***** per hour + OT + allowances.
The role involves; but will not be limited to:
Operation ofForklifts- High Reach
Working in a -28 degrees freezer environment
Operation of Electric Pallet Jacks (where required)
Highreach double deep experience is MUST (Minimum 12 months)
Stock rotation and replenishment
Picking and packing orders
Usage of pallet wrapping machines




Loading and Unloading Trucks
General warehousing duties
Ad hoc duties as required
To be considered for this role, youMUST:
Hold a current LF Forklift Licence
Previous experience onCROWNHigh Reachforklifts aMUST !!

Double Deep Experienceis aMUST
Previous experience with 7- 9 bays high
Have minimum 2 years' experience within a similar industry or role
Previous experience with High Reach Forklifts and double deep putaways aMUST
Experience within a freezer / cold room environment highly desirable
Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
Be Physically fit as some roles will involve heavy lifting
Have yourOWNreliable transport
Be flexible with work hours shift times may vary
Be reliable and punctual
RF Scanning (preferred but not essential)
As per the application process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical (conducted by our Onsite Occupational Nurse during the interview stage) which includes a Drug and Alcohol test.
