We're looking for a full-time Social & Content Specialist to join our marketing team in North Sydney.
At its heart, this is a creative role: coming up with standout ideas and bringing them to life across our organic social and our paid ads, creating high-quality content that stops the scroll and actually drives results.
You'll work closely with a Marketing Manager who's genuinely invested in your growth, at one of the country's fastest-growing companies.
It's creative, fast-moving, and genuinely rewarding.
Your work goes live quickly, and you get to see it perform.
About Green.com.au
We're on a mission to help Australians save time and money as they switch to renewable energy.
The industry is growing fast, and we're right in the middle of it.
Founded by brothers David and Jonathan Green in ****, we set out to do solar and batteries differently.
Since then we've:
Moved into our fourth North Sydney office in as many years
Become digital leaders in our space
Been named an AFR Faster Starter
Won Fastest Growing Energy Company in Australia
We're ambitious, we move quickly, and we're building something that matters.
Just as important, we've built a workplace people genuinely enjoy coming to every day, and we plan to keep it that way.
We've built the most desirable brand in solar and batteries by a country mile.
We take risks, we have fun with our marketing, and we love going against the grain: making solar and batteries anything but boring, and creating high-quality content.
Now we're looking for someone to help us take it further, keep growing the brand, and keep standing out in a market where most of our competitors play it safe.
What you'll be doing
This is a creative role first.
Your biggest job is coming up with brilliant ideas and bringing them to life.
Creative content and campaigns
Coming up with original campaign and content ideas, the kind that set trends rather than follow them,
and that no one else in solar and batteries is doing
Creating high-quality content for both organic social and paid ads, built to grab attention and convert
Taking ideas from concept to finished product: filming and editing short-form video (TikToks, Reels, Shorts), designing graphics, and writing copy that suits each platform
Assisting with the build of campaign emails
Working with the Marketing Manager to plan and run campaigns from start to finish
Learning what makes content actually convert, and using it to sharpen every new idea
Social and community
Owning the scheduling and optimisation of content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
Keeping an eye on our channels every day: replying to comments and DMs, and getting stuck into the accounts and conversations that matter
Staying across internet culture, memes, and viral audio, so we're always a step ahead
Reporting
Pulling the numbers on engagement, reach, and conversions across our content and campaigns
Using that data to drive creative decisions and shape what we make next
What we're looking for
We're looking for a genuinely creative marketer: someone bursting with ideas, who loves making content and wants to build a career doing it.
Someone who takes pride in their work, cares about getting the details right, and gets a real kick out of seeing their ideas perform.
We're big on results, too.
You'll want to know how your content performed, why it worked (or didn't), and what it actually did for the business.
What you'll bring
A real creative streak and a knack for original ideas, you want to set trends, not follow them
Experience creating high-quality content for both organic social and paid ads, with examples to show for it
An eye for what makes content convert
A genuine hunger to do work you're proud of, and the drive to make it happen
A teachable mindset and a real desire to learn and grow
The initiative to ask questions, take ownership, and act on feedback without waiting to be told
Real energy and a positive, can-do attitude
Reliability and a strong eye for detail
1-3 years in a content, social, or marketing role
A degree in marketing, media, communications, or similar (preferred not required)
A positive handle on video editing (CapCut, Premiere), design (Canva, Photoshop), social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube), and scheduling tools (HubSpot), and the confidence to learn how to use new tools quickly
Why join Green.com.au?
Be part of one of Australia's fastest-growing energy companies
Bring your ideas to the table and see them genuinely heard and valued
Enjoy an awesome culture, look forward to coming to work every day
Get hands-on training and mentoring across social and content, and learn the full marketing process end-to-end
Take real ownership across campaigns from start to finish, see your work go live fast, and feel the impact you're making
Grow your marketing career as the business keeps expanding
Work from our North Sydney office, with harbour views from your desk
If you want to make content that lands, and grow with a business that's on the rise, we'd love to hear from you.
Don't wait.
Don't hesitate.
