Your Experience & Expertise
Specialist expertise in employment law across a broad range of issues including any or all of the following: employee relations, employment litigation and investigations, employment advisory and compliance (including discrimination, privacy and safety laws), collective bargaining and IR and corporate transactions and restructurings
Familiarity with safety law including disciplinary issues, termination of employment, complex staff complaints, industrial disputes, enterprise bargaining and grievance handling
Prior experience and exposure dealing with large scale complex remediation projects and/or payroll remediation and compliance programs
Experienced in advising on compliance with Work Health Safety laws and anti-discrimination matters
Experienced dealing with employment regulators including the Fair Work Ombudsman and IR Commission.
The ability to monitor legislative changes and industry best practices, recommending updates to policies and procedures




Experience managing complex employment law matters in large organisations and have the ability to influence, negotiate and simplify complex legal matters
Confident liaising with multiple internal stakeholders and teams
The ability to manage external facing issues

The ability to hit the ground running, work autonomously and prioritise
Robust legal judgement and the ability to identify key risks quickly
Confidence dealing with senior internal stakeholders and external legal advisers
Commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
Proactive, responsive and solutions-focused working style
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years' experience
A current Australian practising certificate
Right to live and work in Australia
