Chandler Macleod is seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI & Data Reporting Officer to join a Federal Government team based in Canberra (Fairbairn) on a 12-month contract.
This role sits within a dynamic section responsible for driving business improvement, data-driven decision making, and innovative solutions across a complex regulatory environment.
You will play a key role in supporting reporting capabilities, enhancing data quality, and enabling stakeholders to make informed operational decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of reporting solutions usingPower BI.
Contribute to ongoing improvements in the collection, management, and quality of operational data.
Provide training, guidance, and support to internal stakeholders on reporting tools and data processes.
Assist with data analysis and reporting activities to support business objectives and performance monitoring.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process and reporting improvements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Experience and understanding ofdata modelling within Power BI.
Previous experience working with data, reporting, or business intelligence solutions.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.




Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders and translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation.
