As the business continues to scale, they are seeking aSenior Software Engineer – Delivery Leadto take ownership of technical delivery while remaining deeply involved in software development.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys leading projects, influencing technical decisions, and driving successful outcomes—without moving into people management.
The Opportunity As a Senior Software Engineer – Delivery Lead, you'll be responsible for guiding the delivery of key projects and feature initiatives from planning through to production.
You'll work closely with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time, meet quality expectations, and create meaningful business value.
You'll be a trusted technical leader within the team, balancing hands-on development with delivery ownership and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Leadership
Lead the technical delivery of projects and feature initiatives.
Break down business requirements into clear technical workstreams and milestones.
Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and priorities.
Drive projects through to successful completion while maintaining quality and delivery commitments.
Technical Leadership
Provide technical direction and guidance across projects.
Influence design decisions, architecture,



and engineering best practices.
Support fellow engineers through code reviews, mentoring, and collaboration.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes and tooling.
Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with Product, QA, and business stakeholders.
Provide clear updates on progress, challenges, and delivery risks.
Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
Hands-On Development
Design, build, test, and maintain scalable software solutions.
Contribute high-quality production code across core platforms and features.
Participate in architecture discussions and solution design.
Champion engineering excellence and software quality.
About You Essential Experience
7+ years' experience in software engineering.
Demonstrated experience leading the delivery of complex software projects.
Strong experience working within Agile development environments.
Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills You'll bring experience across several of the following:
Java
Cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
RESTful APIs and modern application architectures
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Testing frameworks and software quality practices
Personal Attributes
Strong ownership mentality and delivery focus.
Ability to lead through influence rather than formal authority.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Pragmatic decision-maker who balances technical excellence with business outcomes.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
