Business analyst - Health insurance and claims
Infosys Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with strong Insurance and Health Insurance domain expertise to support large‐scale Claims Transformation programs.
The role will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements within an Agile delivery environment.
The successful candidate will bring a blend of business analysis capability, insurance domain knowledge, and Agile delivery experience, enabling effective collaboration across business, technology, and operations teams to deliver customer‐centric and regulatory‐compliant outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements acrossclaims, policy servicing, and customer journeys
Translate business needs intoepics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteriaaligned to programme and product objectives
Support end‐to‐end requirements management across discovery, delivery, testing, and implementation phases
Ensure requirements are clear, prioritised, traceable, and aligned with business outcomes and regulatory standards
Claims Transformation Delivery
Support the delivery ofClaims Transformation initiatives, including process re‐engineering, digitisation, system modernisation, and capability uplift
Work closely with claims operations, underwriting, customer service,



and technology teams to improve efficiency, customer experience, and compliance
Contribute to transformation programs involvingcore claims platforms, workflow systems, rules engines, and digital channels
Agile Delivery Support
Operate as anAgile Business Analystwithin Scrum or SAFe teams
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies includingbacklog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Partner closely withProduct Owners and Scrum Mastersto support prioritisation, scope definition, and value delivery
Enable the squad to deliver iterative, high‐quality outcomes with a strong customer and business value focus
Stakeholder & Domain Engagement
Engage withInsurance and Health Insurance business stakeholdersto understand business processes, pain points, and future‐state needs
Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring a shared understanding of requirements and outcomes
Support change management and business readiness activities, including workshops, walkthroughs, and UAT support
Risk, Compliance & Governance
Ensure requirements and solutions align withinsurance regulatory, risk, and compliance obligations
Identify risks, issues, and dependencies early and accelerate as required




Support governance processes through accurate documentation and audit‐ready artefacts
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as aBusiness AnalystwithinInsurance or Health Insuranceenvironments
Strong hands‐on experience working onClaims Transformation programs
Demonstrated experience as anAgile BA, working in Scrum or SAFe delivery models
Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows)
Experience working closely withProduct Owners, delivery teams, and senior business stakeholders
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience delivering transformation initiatives withinclaims platforms, policy systems, or digital insurance products
Exposure to regulated environments and collaboration withrisk, compliance, privacy, and legal teams
Familiarity with tools such asJira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, Visio
Consulting or professional services background
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification inBusiness, Information Systems, Technology, or a related discipline
Relevant BA or Agile certifications (CBAP, CCBA, Agile BA, Secure, Scrum) – desirable
