We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled
Trades Assistant
to join our busy workshop team.
This is a hands‐on role working closely with supervisors, engineers, and qualified tradespeople to deliver safe, high‐quality work within required timeframes.
In this role you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and representing the business professionally when working with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
About the role:
Reading and interpreting production and fabrication drawings
Assisting with the prefabrication and assembly of structures both in the workshop and out on site
Supporting tradespeople with daily tasks and tool handling
Working to strict deadlines and within allocated budgets
Travelling to various project sites as required
Carrying out repairs, replacements, and general maintenance of existing structures
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work workplace
Representing the company in a professional manner when engaging with third parties and internal teams
About you:
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn




The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Basic understanding of construction or fabrication processes (desirable)
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings (or willingness to learn)
A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Flexibility to travel for work when required
