What you'll be doing
The Administration Officer Level 5 provides advanced administrative, operational, and coordination support for the Child Protection Unit (CPU) team.
The role is responsible for managing and coordinating administrative functions, analyzing information, supporting business operations, and providing specialist advice to stakeholders to support efficient and effective service delivery.
The position applies initiative, judgement, and well-developed organisational and problem-solving skills to manage competing priorities, coordinate business processes, and contribute to the achievement of operational and strategic objectives in accordance with NSW Health policies and procedures.
Th position is responsible for processing requests for the release of information (ROI) contained clinical record.
are received from a variety of sources including patients, the Ministry of Health,



legal entities and third parties.

Demonstrated experience in delivering high level administrative and operational support.
, including responding to client enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a challenging work environment which includes clients who have experienced various forms of violence, abuse and neglect.

Demonstrated knowledge of the public health system and an ability to apply that knowledge to achieve high standards of quality, efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of health services.
Highly developed and effective administrative and organisational skills with extensive experience in a health service environment encompassing administration, human resource management, finance and resource management and health service delivery.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic multidisciplinary team environment.
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and Teams, Healthroster, ROB, Patient Management, Oracle, and iProcurement.
Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative and operational support in a complex environment.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, sound judgement and problem-solving.
