Lead Greenstone's UX design capability and shape exceptional customer experiences by embedding customer-centred design into every stage of product discovery and delivery.
What are we looking for?
Proven experience as a Lead UX Designer, Senior UX Designer (with leadership responsibilities), UX Design Manager, or similar role
Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user-centred design, interaction design, visual design, and design systems
Demonstrated people leadership experience, including leading, mentoring, developing and prioritising the work of a small UX team
Ownership of discovery and prioritisation, include leading customer research, journey analysis, prototyping and usability testing, plus managing the UX pipeline, capacity and trade-offs
Experience using data, customer insights and experimentation to inform design decisions and drive continuous improvement
Commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer needs with business objectives and deliver commercially viable solutions
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience partnering across Product, Technology, business stakeholders and senior leaders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using customer insights and data to inform design decisions
Passion for innovation and keeping up to date with emerging UX trends, tools and technologies
High emotional intelligence, resilience and adaptability, with a growth mindset and the ability to influence, challenge assumptions and embrace feedback
Relevant tertiary qualification in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Robust understanding of digital technologies and platforms to support effective product and experience design




Experience within the insurance or financial services industry is highly regarded, with an understanding of industry trends and customer challenges
