About the Role
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be an integral member of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, providing exceptional patient-centred care while contributing to positive health outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering health promotion, education and support to patients, families and carers
Providing clinical leadership and coordination of patient care on a shift-by-shift basis
Supporting and mentoring less experienced Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and students
Contributing to safe and effective strategies for managing challenging behavioursi>
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of cardiac care
About You
You will bring:
Experience caring for patients in an acute cardiology setting
Robust communication, problem-solving, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
The ability to think creatively, adapt to change and embrace innovation
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
A commitment to teamwork and delivering exceptional patient outcomes
