About The Role
Bathurst Regional Council is currently seeking a full time Customer Service and Administration Officer, this position is part of the administration team providing customer service and administration support in relation to the functions of the Environmental Planning and Building Services Department of Council.
This position provides quality customer service (phone and reception) to the public and undertakes a range of complex administration tasks utilising a range of internet and intranet based data administration and records management systems and Microsoft computer packages.
Key Requirements
Excellent administrative skills – e.g. data entry, record keeping, touch typing, preparation of correspondence.
Proficiency in the operation of various computer packages including a well developed understanding of Microsoft office programs, Adobe and internet and intranet based data administration applications and records management systems.
Experience in updating/maintaining databases and registers.
Good oral and written communication skills
Certificate in Office Administration or equivalent and/or relevant experience in administration and customer service

Salary: $1,****** to $1,****** per week + 12% superannuation
Position Status: Permanent - Full time
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:45 pm - 35 hours per week with an RDO every third week
