Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland government client to recruit an experiencedProcurement and Contracts Project Officer.
Working alongside the Program Director, Senior Procurement Lead and Senior Project Managers, you'll provide project coordination and procurement support across multiple high value ICT procurement workstreams.
This role combines project governance, procurement administration, budget coordination and stakeholder management in a complex government environment.
We're looking for someone with strong Project Officer experience who has supported ICT procurement, tender or contract management activities within government or a large enterprise environment.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate project schedules, governance activities, milestones and action registers
Support ICT procurement activities including procurement documentation, approvals, evaluation packs and contract administration
Prepare briefing notes, governance papers, reports and executive documentation
Assist with tender documentation, procurement templates and internal approval processes
Coordinate technical, commercial, procurement and business stakeholders throughout procurement activities
Support budget tracking,



financial reporting and purchase order management
Monitor project risks, issues and dependencies across multiple procurement workstreams
Maintain accurate, audit ready project and procurement records
About you
Experience as a Project Officer, Project Coordinator or Project Support Officer supportingICT procurement or contract management activities
Previous Queensland Government experience supporting ICT projects, procurement or commercial workstreams
Exposure to government procurement frameworks, governance and probity requirements
Strong project governance, reporting and documentation skills
Experience coordinating budgets, financial reporting and project administration
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across technical, commercial and business teams
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced program
This role will suit someone who enjoys working at the intersection ofproject delivery and ICT procurement.
You'll be part of a cooperative team delivering multiple complex procurement workstreams, where strong coordination, governance and procurement support experience are essential.
