Following continued growth, they're looking for a commercially minded Senior Consultant to join their Sydney team.
The Opportunity
This is a highly consultative, client-facing role where you'll partner with major banking clients to solve complex business challenges using market-leading research and data.
You'll lead end-to-end research and consulting projects, uncover commercially meaningful insights from one of Australia's richest financial services datasets, and present strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Internally, you'll mentor junior consultants, help evolve research best practice and embrace new technologies, including AI-enabled workflows.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage strategic relationships with major banking and financial services clients.
Lead end-to-end research and consulting projects from briefing through to insight generation and delivery.
Analyse complex quantitative data and translate it into clear, commercially actionable recommendations.
Deliver engaging presentations and workshops to senior stakeholders.
Respond to ad hoc analysis requests while ensuring exceptional quality and client service.
Drive continuous improvement through new research approaches, automation and AI.
Mentor and develop junior consultants within a collaborative team.
About You
You'll already be working in an insights consultancy and be looking for greater client ownership, strategic consulting exposure and genuine career progression.
You'll likely have:
4+ years' experience within a market research or insights consultancy.
End-to-end quantitative research experience.
Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
Experience using SPSS, Q or similar analysis software.
Commercial curiosity and a passion for customer insight.
Financial services research experience would be advantageous, although researchers from other complex sectors will also be considered.
