Smartrak is a fleet telematics and EV fleet management SaaS business operating across Australia and New Zealand. Smartrak proudly leads the charge as the foremost provider of advanced EV fleet management and Sustainable Transportation solutions and is dedicated to facilitating EV enablement, addressing administration, and streamlining fleet management throughout Australia and New Zealand. Smartrak is part of the Omegro portfolio of Enterprise Asset Management businesses. Being a part of a business within this portfolio means that you have access to a global network of SaaS businesses, shared learning, best practice, and career development opportunities that go well beyond a standalone company. You will have the opportunity to lead Smartrak's growth and success, whilst having access to a global network of SaaS and vertically aligned CEOs and business leaders, the best of both worlds!
As a people-first organisation, Smartrak believes in liberating the potential of our people. We develop career paths for team members and foster a culture of collaboration and learning, underpinned by our values:
Commitment to each other's success
Embrace a challenge

We are looking for an experienced leader who aligns with our values and has a passion for customer obsession, bias for action, and coaching team members to ensure the success of strategy, operational and developmental goals. As Smartrak continues to grow its client base across Australia, this role will bring a explicit commercial experience and focus on strengthening existing customer relationships, expanding into new opportunities, and ensuring every business decision supports long-term customer value, revenue growth, and market relevance.

Develop and execute the strategic plan to ensure strong growth, profitability and operational effectiveness.
Set a high-performance culture for customer obsession, connection and satisfaction, including key account ownership.
Champion internal talent management activities and succession planning to support the business' growth objectives, team development, engagement, values and culture alignment.
Manage business risk, including compliance and regulatory requirements.

The right person must think both strategically and operationally, and be able to coach through change, growth and challenges to achieve the forecasted business goals.
You are naturally customer-obsessed and commercially sharp. You understand that sustainable growth comes from deeply knowing our customers, anticipating their needs, and turning that insight into practical sales and marketing strategies.
This role is perfect for someone who has a drive for data-based decisions, professional growth, excels in a changing environment, and appreciates the advantages of working within a smaller organisation, supported by a large corporation.
What will you bring?

A strong intrinsic motivation to build a team, inspire and coach others. The ability to lead and nurture multiple stakeholders with differing behavioural preferences, whilst exhibiting a high degree of positive influence, kindness and clarity.
Strategic decision-making strength, with a bias for action using data driven insights.
Confidence and experience in your ability to partner with leadership teams to align business vision to strategic objectives, data, and results.
