What Youll Be Doing
Developing and implementing a high-quality Kindergarten program aligned with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
Creating engaging, intentional learning experiences that support children's development, curiosity, confidence, and sense of belonging
Leading the planning cycle through observations, documentation, assessment, and reflection to support each child's individual learning journey
Building strong, respectful relationships with children and families through meaningful communication and partnerships
Creating safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environments where children feel secure, capable, and valued
Contributing to a positive culture of reflection, continuous improvement, and professional growth
What Were Looking For
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of the QKLG, EYLF, and NQS
A values-led approach, with a genuine passion for nature, community, and collaborative practice
Experience developing and delivering an engaging Kindergarten program
Confidence in planning, programming, observation, documentation, and assessment practices
A strong understanding of child safety, wellbeing, and the importance of children's voices being heard and respected
The ability to build warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and educators
A positive, solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
Pride in creating meaningful learning environments where every child feels a strong sense of belonging
Most importantly, we're looking for an ECT who cares. The kind of teacher who celebrates children's achievements, values every child's unique strengths, and understands that the relationships built each day shape children's lifelong learning and confidence.
