Contract/Engagement:
Initial contract until End of Financial Year (EOFY) June **** + extension options.
Rate/Salary:
Competitive Market Rate (Hourly contract).
Location & Flexibility:
Opportunities available across multiple locations including QLD, WA, ACT, VIC, NSW, SA, and TAS, offering modern workspaces and adaptable, professional environments. (ACT Location Preferred)
Role & Responsibilities
Develop, drive, and deliver comprehensive labour hire recruitment and retention strategies for the program while ensuring strict adherence to departmental policies.
Manage high-level relationships and contract management discussions of both a sensitive and non-sensitive nature with external stakeholders and labour hire providers.
Partner with internal specialised units-including Cyber Security and Fraud teams-to manage highly sensitive contractual and risk management matters.




Analyse complex workforce trends to provide strategic advice to program executives regarding the performance, capabilities, and optimal management of contract resources.
Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives, sharing best practices across business units to build organizational capabilities and processes.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this position, you will ideally bring:
Technical Toolkit:
Strong expertise in Commonwealth Government procurement frameworks, labour hire talent acquisition policies, workforce trend analysis, and program-level contract management.
Experience:
Demonstrated background managing end-to-end recruitment and complex contract lifecycles within a fast-paced Federal Government or large program environment.
Core Capabilities:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to handle highly sensitive data with discretion, influence senior executives, and deliver quality results under tight deadlines.
