Nexus Point is a multidisciplinary advisory and consultancy firm supporting businesses across government incentives, supply chain, freight, customs and business operations.
We are looking for a bright, motivated graduate to join our Melbourne team in a broad business operations role. This is an on-site position based in our Melbourne CBD office.
This is not a traditional administration position. You will work across different areas of the business, support client and internal projects, help coordinate day-to-day operations and contribute to improving how we work.
As part of a small and collaborative team, you will not be confined to one function. You will be expected to learn quickly, take ownership of your work and be willing to assist wherever you can add value.
Full training and support will be provided, but we are looking for someone who is also resourceful, curious and comfortable working independently.
What you will be doing
Your responsibilities will develop as you gain experience and may include:
Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of internal and client projects
Working with different teams across the business to keep tasks and deliverables moving
Conducting research and assisting with data collection and analysis
Preparing, reviewing and formatting reports, presentations and client documentation
Helping maintain internal systems, databases and CRM information
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and make our operations more efficient
Using AI tools to support research, documentation, analysis and workflow improvement
Assisting with general business operations and administrative tasks
Taking on new responsibilities as the role and your capabilities develop
About you

Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Graduates from business, commerce, project management, data and analytics, information systems, technology or related disciplines may be particularly suited to the position. We are equally open to candidates from other backgrounds who can demonstrate the capability, initiative and interest required to succeed in the role.
Practical experience with AI tools would be valued, but technical expertise in this area is not a requirement. We are looking for someone who is excited by its potential, comfortable experimenting with new tools and interested in helping us make our processes smarter and more efficient.
