Senior Operations Manager
.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the General Manager Accommodation & Community, you will lead a significant portfolio of services, driving operational excellence, sustainable growth and high-quality outcomes for the people we support. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across service delivery, workforce capability, financial performance and risk management, ensuring services remain person-centred, compliant and aligned to Civic's vision and objectives.
This is a key leadership role where you will partner with senior leaders to implement strategy, lead change, foster innovation and build a high-performing culture that delivers exceptional outcomes for clients, employees and the organisation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the performance, growth and sustainability of accommodation and community service portfolios.
Translate organisational strategy into operational plans and measurable outcomes.
Drive service growth, new service implementation and business development opportunities.
Lead workforce planning, capability development and performance management.
Strengthen stakeholder, community and referral networks.
Ensure strong governance, risk management and compliance practices.
Champion safeguarding, quality improvement and person-centred approaches.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and innovation.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
You are a contemporary people leader with a strong track record of leading complex service operations and developing high-performing teams.
You will bring:
Senior operational leadership experience, ideally within disability, community or human services.
Experience leading large, multi-site or complex service portfolios.
Robust commercial acumen with the ability to balance service quality, workforce outcomes and financial performance.
Demonstrated success in driving growth, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Sound knowledge of the NDIS, safeguarding requirements, quality standards and risk management frameworks.
Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Civic can provide help with dressing, feeding, toileting, administration and monitoring of medicines. We can provide support with shopping, domestic assistance, gardening and home maintenance services and other day-to-day tasks.
We can assist with activities like:
Personal hygiene
Bathroom assistance
Eating and drinking
Mobility and transferring
Administration of medicines
Home help
Attending medical appointments
Weight management including personal training
Use of aids and appliances
Other day-to-day tasks
