The Role
At Vinnies Queensland, our
Truck Drivers
play an important role in supporting our retail stores and local communities. You will have high energy, be a hands-on individual and provide excellent customer service.
You'll be responsible for collecting and delivering donated goods. When you're not on the road, you'll work alongside our warehouse team to ensure stock is processed and distributed efficiently.
We offer a excellent work-life balance with a
set
roster
of
Monday through to Friday from 8am to 4pm.
All driving will be done locally, and no long-haul or overnight work is required.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate an MR truck to collect and deliver donated goods
Load and unload stock, including furniture and bulky items
Pick,
prepare and organise orders for Vinnies retail stores
Assist with receiving, sorting and processing donated goods
Support stock control and inventory management activities
Work closely with the Logistics Manager Distribution Centre Supervisor and warehouse team
Assist with general warehouse duties and housekeeping
Dispose of unsuitable donations and waste in accordance with procedures
Follow all workplace health and safety requirements

What you'll bring
Current MR Driver Licence (Mandatory)
Current Forklift Licence (Mandatory)
Previousexperience as a truck or delivery driver
Experience in furniture removal and delivery and/or warehousing and logistics
Excellent driving history record and ability to follow all road safety regulations
A positive attitude and a desire to learn and do your best for your team and those we support
