Exciting opportunities currently exist for experienced Hospital and Theatre Orderlies to join our team at St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne, across our four sites of Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee.
ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
We're seeking motivated individuals for casual roles across both theatres and general wards, with flexible shift options, including night duty.
Responsibilities:
Transporting and safely transferring patients between departments, within the operating suite, and to/from nearby hospitals
Maintaining cleanliness in perioperative areas (floors, walls, shelving, tearooms, etc.)
Handling and delivering equipment between departments and hospitals as required
Managing soiled linen, biomedical, and general waste in compliance with PPE protocols
Cleaning patient care areas including recovery and theatre spaces

ABOUT YOU:
Certificate III Health Services Assistant
The ability to work autonomously and within a Team




Physically fit
Excellent communication, with the ability to relate to patients and staff
An awareness of patient confidentiality and application of relevant privacy legislation
Previous training in Manual Handling and/or safe lifting techniques
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Requirements:
