The Opportunity We're looking for an
AI Automation Engineer
to design, build and deploy AI-powered workflows that transform the way our business operates. You'll work closely with stakeholders to identify repetitive processes, implement intelligent automations, and develop AI agents that improve productivity across the organisation.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys combining software engineering, automation and generative AI to solve real business problems. You'll be involved in projects from discovery through to deployment, working with the latest AI models and automation platforms.
What You'll Be Doing
Design and build AI-powered workflows and automations across multiple business functions.
Develop AI agents using modern LLMs and orchestration frameworks.
Integrate AI solutions with internal and third-party systems using APIs.
Build automations using tools such as n8n, Power Automate, Make, Zapier or similar platforms.
Create secure, scalable and maintainable AI solutions.
Work with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into technical solutions.
Optimise prompts, workflows and agent performance.
Monitor deployed solutions and continually improve reliability and user experience.
Document solutions and share best practices across the business.

About You
You'll be naturally curious and passionate about emerging AI technologies, with a practical mindset for delivering solutions that create measurable business value.
You'll also bring:
Experience building AI applications or intelligent automation solutions.
Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar.
Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations.
Knowledge of Large Language Models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or similar).
Experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n, Power Automate, Make, Zapier or UiPath.
Understanding of prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases or agentic workflows.
Experience deploying applications to Azure, AWS or GCP.
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI or AutoGen.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Exposure to Microsoft Copilot Studio or Azure AI Foundry.
Experience implementing AI governance, security and responsible AI practices.
