Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect with significant expertise in SAP S/4HANA conversion programs, including Brownfield System Conversions, Bluefield Transformations, and Selective Data Transition (SDT) engagements. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining transformation strategies, leading solution architecture, driving conversion and migration activities, and ensuring successful delivery of SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA programs.
The role requires deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture, system conversion methodologies, data selection and migration strategies, landscape transformations, integration architecture, and governance frameworks.

Roles and Responsibilities:
SAP S/4HANA Conversion Strategy & Architecture
Define and lead SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA conversion strategies using Brownfield, Bluefield, and Selective Data Transition approaches.
Assess existing SAP landscapes and recommend the optimal transformation path based on business, technical, and data requirements.
Develop target-state SAP S/4HANA architecture aligned with enterprise and business objectives.




Conduct fit-gap assessments and conversion readiness evaluations.
Define system landscape strategies, deployment models, and cutover approaches.
Lead SAP S/4HANA conversion programs involving:
Bluefield Transformation
Selective Data Transition (SDT)
System Consolidation
Landscape Transformation
Carve-outs, Mergers, and Business Reorganizations
Define migration waves, deployment plans, and business transition strategies.
Collaborate with functional, technical, Basis, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure successful conversion outcomes.
Support conversion design workshops and architecture governance activities.
Selective Data Transition (SDT) & Data Migration
Define and lead selective data transition strategies for SAP S/4HANA programs.
Master Data
Open Transactions
Historical Transactional Data
Lead data scoping, harmonization, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
Define data migration rules and business retention requirements.
Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and data governance policies.
Support business stakeholders in defining historical data migration requirements and reporting obligations.
Establish architecture principles, standards, and governance frameworks.
Review solution designs across application, integration, security, infrastructure, and data workstreams.
Ensure adherence to SAP Best Practices, SAP Activate methodology, and Clean Core principles.
Assess transformation risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Govern architecture decisions throughout the program lifecycle.
Stakeholder Management
Engage with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and program management teams.
Present architecture recommendations, conversion strategies, and transformation roadmaps.
Act as a trusted advisor for SAP S/4HANA conversion initiatives.
Support pre-sales activities, solution demonstrations, estimations, and proposal development.
Integration & Technical Architecture
Define integration architectures involving SAP BTP, Integration Suite, CPI, APIs, middleware, and non-SAP applications.
Guide hybrid, cloud, and on-premise S/4HANA deployment models.
Ensure seamless integration and interoperability across enterprise systems.
Successful delivery of SAP S/4HANA conversion and transformation programs.
Achievement of migration quality, timeline, and budget objectives.
Effective execution of Brownfield, Bluefield, and SDT approaches.




Accurate and compliant data migration with minimal business disruption.
High-quality architecture governance and solution design.
Improved system simplification, process standardization, and business value realization.
12+ years of SAP experience with 5+ years in Solution Architect or Lead Architect roles.
Proven experience delivering multiple SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
Strong hands-on experience in:
Brownfield System Conversions
Bluefield Transformations
Selective Data Transition (SDT)
SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Migration
SAP Activate Methodology
Experience leading large-scale SAP transformation and conversion programs.
Strong understanding of SAP system landscape architecture and transformation methodologies.

Experience with mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, and company code consolidations.
Must be capable of taking initiative and be proactive, with a firm understanding of the final goal to be achieved.
