About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on
Hotel Manager
to lead the day-to-day operations of Bush Village Holiday Cabins.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality skilled who enjoys a varied operational role and leads by example. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving operational performance, supporting your team and ensuring the property is presented to the highest standard.
Working closely with Head Office, you will oversee all aspects of the business, balancing guest satisfaction, team leadership and commercial performance while maintaining the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere Bush Village is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day operations of the property, including front office, guest services and general maintenance
Inspire, mentor and support a small team to deliver outstanding customer service
Oversee guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to check-out




Monitor budgets, control expenses and contribute to achieving financial targets
Work closely with housekeeping to maintain exceptional presentation and cleanliness throughout the property
Drive occupancy and revenue through local sales, marketing and business development initiatives
Ensure compliance with all health, safety and licensing requirements
Build strong relationships with Head Office through regular reporting and operational communication
Identify opportunities to continuously improve the guest experience and operational efficiency
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience managing a hotel
, motel, holiday park or similar accommodation property (2+ years preferred)
A proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a hands-on environment
Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
Experience using property management or reservation systems (RMS experience highly regarded)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Sound knowledge of property maintenance and facilities operations
A genuine, warm passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences




RSA and RMLV certifications will be highly regarded
Live and work in a stunning coastal location close to Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays
