What would I be doing in this job?
Working directly with the CFO and Chief Data & Analytics Officer, you can expect every day to be different.
There will be several things that need to be done each day or month, such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance and regular reporting. Working directly with CFO you will get exposure to corporate credit cards, fleet management, insurance, tax, management reporting and much, much more. Don't expect to get bored!
Working directly with Chief Data & Analytics Office,



you will proactively communicate with sales managers and head of sales of various divisions in the company to ensure timely submission analytical sales reports.

Despite its size the company has a "family business" feeling where everyone knows everyone and there's no red tape or hierarchy.
The role will always remain challenging and if that suits you to a tee, then it does for us as well, however there is scope to move into Senior Analyst role, Accountant role or other roles in Administration, Sales or Management.
Have you got the goods?
First and foremost, you LOVE Microsoft Excel. You go to sleep at night wondering if an XLOOKUP would have been a better way to do it!
You need to have experience in bookkeeping with exposure to Accounts receivables, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations and general office/finance administration. Experience in using Xero Accounting Software with Inventory module is essential.
You like working in a small work group and don't need someone standing over your shoulder telling you how things must be done. You like to be told or shown and then left to do the job and will seek advice if you have a question.
You have a high attention to detail and your verbal and written communication skills of a high standard.
Ideally you live close to Ryde as this is a five day in the office role.

The role is located in a new office workplace in Ryde with onsite parking and a short stroll to Top Ryde shopping centre.
