What we're looking for
Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration
Experience working in women and children's health or caring for people who have experienced family, domestic and sexual violence
Demonstrated ability to provide trauma informed care
Well-developed communication (verbal, written and listening) and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work
The role




Work with women and their children who are in crisis accommodation
Recognise and respond to the health needs of victim-survivors of family, domestic and sexual violence
Be part of a Primary Healthcare Outreach Team (PHOT) consisting of a GP, Practice Nurse and Health Linker providing medical treatment and care coordination
Manage brokerage funding to overcome barriers to timely access to public health services
Work together across service and organisational boundaries as part of a multi-agency team of service providers (eg health, housing, justice, safety, education).
