Programmed is partnering with a leading Australian manufacturer to recruit
two Industrial Electricians
to join their permanent maintenance team.

Shift Pattern
Two permanent roster options are available.
Electrician 1
Sunday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Monday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Tuesday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Wednesday: 6:00am – 12:00pm
Thursday – Saturday: Off
Electrician 2
Thursday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm
Friday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Sunday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Monday – Wednesday: Off
About the Role
Working within a manufacturing environment,
you'll support the site's maintenance function by ensuring plant equipment remains reliable and production downtime is minimised.
Responsibilities include:
Preventative and breakdown maintenance
Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
PLC fault finding (where required)
Maintaining motors, conveyors, drives and production equipment
Equipment installations and upgrades
Working closely with the Mechanical Fitter to maintain plant performance
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Maintaining high safety standards
On-Call Requirements
As part of the maintenance team, you will participate in an
on-call roster
outside your normal working hours.
If called back to site, you'll receive a
$300 call-out payment
, along with a
paid 10-hour break
following the call-out before returning to work.
While there is
no standing on-call allowance
, call-outs are reportedly infrequent and the maintenance team works together to keep the site operating efficiently.
About You
To be successful you will have:
Current Queensland Electrical Licence
Trade qualification as an Electrician or Electrical Fitter/Mechanic
Industrial, manufacturing or maintenance experience highly regarded
Robust fault-finding skills
Commitment to safety and teamwork
Ability to participate in the on-call roster
Recently qualified electricians are encouraged to apply.
