This is an opportunity to join a well-established industrial manufacturing business supplying critical products to some of Australia's largest industries.
Working as part of a high-performing finance team, you'll be the trusted commercial partner to operational and business leaders, taking ownership of forecasting, financial performance, inventory and commercial decision support across multiple business units.
This is a genuine business partnering role where your ability to build relationships, influence outcomes and provide commercial insight will be just as important as your technical finance capability.
What you'll be doing
Partner with operational and commercial leaders to improve business performance
Own the full P&L;, forecasting and financial performance across multiple business units
Deliver budgeting, rolling forecasts and month-end reporting with accuracy and commercial insight
Support pricing, investment and operational decisions through financial modelling and analysis
Lead weekly performance reviews, identifying risks, opportunities and actions
Drive inventory performance and working capital optimisation alongside Operations and Supply Chain
Prepare insightful financial reporting and present findings to senior leadership
Identify opportunities to improve reporting, automate processes and enhance financial visibility
About You
You're an experienced Finance Business Partner who enjoys working alongside the business rather than behind a desk.
You will also have:
Demonstrated experience in Finance Business Partnering or Management Accounting roles in a manufacturing setting
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business or Accounting
High level commercial/business acumen with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights to guide decision making
Strong financial analysis,



budgeting, forecasting and P&L; ownership
Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability
Highly adept and experienced with ERP Systems
Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence, challenge and build rapport with stakeholders across Finance, Operations and Commercial teams
A hands-on approach with the ability to hit the ground running in a lean, collaborative team
Natural problem solver and inquisitive by nature
Highly Regarded
High-level capability across Power BI, Dynamics 365 or similar
Extensive experience in similar roles across mining services, heavy industry or industrial
