About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth within our Grounds Services Division, Programmed Property Services is seeking an experienced
Gardening Team Leader
to join our team in
Melbourne CBD
.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated horticultural professional to lead a team delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services across a diverse portfolio of client sites. You will play a key role in coordinating daily operations, supervising team members and contractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team delivering horticultural and grounds maintenance services
Coordinate daily work schedules and site activities
Undertake a range of gardening and landscape maintenance tasks
Monitor and audit the quality of works completed by employees and contractors
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to client expectations
Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Promote and maintain safe work practices across all sites
Complete site documentation, reporting and administrative requirements
Support the Project Manager in the planning and delivery of maintenance programs
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a hands-on leader with a passion for horticulture, strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
You will also possess:
Demonstrated experience in grounds maintenance and horticulture
Previous experience leading or supervising a gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance team
Relevant horticultural qualifications or equivalent industry experience




Robust planning, organisational and time-management skills
Competent written and verbal communication skills
A sound understanding of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems
The ability to build positive working relationships with clients, contractors and team members
Current Driver's Licence (essential)
