With an expanding store network and exciting growth plans ahead, we're looking for a
Distribution Centre Team Leader
to help keep our operations moving safely, efficiently, and accurately.
Based in our Distribution Centre in Ipswich, you'll lead a team responsible for receiving, processing, and despatching stock to stores across our network. This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll drive productivity, champion safety, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure our stores receive the right stock at the right time.

What you'll be doing
Leading, coaching, and supporting a team of Distribution Centre Team Members
Managing daily receiving, processing, and despatch activities in line with stock flow plans
Ensuring stores receive stock accurately and on time
Promoting a strong safety-first culture and maintaining compliance with all health and safety requirements
Identifying, reporting, and managing workplace hazards, incidents, and corrective actions
Driving team productivity and performance against operational targets
Supporting training and development across the team, including materials handling equipment (MHE) operation




Maintaining inventory accuracy through quality control processes and cycle counting activities
Monitoring operational performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Supporting return‐to‐work programs and fostering a positive team environment
What you'll bring
Experience leading teams within a distribution centre, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock movement, and inventory control
Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
Experience driving productivity and achieving operational KPIs
Strong problem‐solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
Excellent communication and people leadership capabilities
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
High attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
A proactive, hands‐on approach with a strong work ethic
