Exciting opportunity for an Analytics Engineer to provide key role across delivery and supporting enterprise Power BI analytics solutions. Contract 5 months initially. Hybrid work model.
Responsibilities will include:
Working across Power BI, semantic models and gold layer data models
Contributing to Databricks development and data engineering
Working across Power BI analytics solutions
SQL development and query optimisation
Python programming
Working across GIT and DevOps tools
Ability to hit the ground running

Strong skills working across enterprise Power BI analytics solutions
Experience working across modern data platforms
Strong skills with DAX development, optimisation and semantic modelling
Strong skills with dimensional data models using Kimball modelling
Robust SQL development and optimisation skills
Hands-on experience developing enterprise solutions using Databricks
Strong Python skills for automation
Experience with GIT and DevOps for source control, code reviews and CI/CD
Experience with Lakeflow for orchestration and pipeline development nice to have
Experience with Unit Catalog and governed data platforms highly regarded
Exposure to AI enabled analytics, Copilot or Power Platform
Excellent communication skills
