About the role
We are seeking an experienced and cooperative leader to coordinate the operational functions of our Doctors in Training (DiT) program. In this role, you will lead a team of Operations Coordinators and work in partnership with the Team Leader Recruitment Doctors in Training and Administrative teams to deliver an efficient, compliant, and well-supported medical junior workforce.
The Operations team plays a critical role in workforce planning and management, with responsibilities including doctor rostering, rotation planning, training coordination, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the DiT program.
About you




To be successful in this role you will possess:
Previous leadership experience in a dynamic healthcare environment
A strong commitment to quality improvement and service provision
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in theAustralian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
