Service Technician - Heavy Diesel Mechanic
ProReman, an Epiroc entity are seeking a Service Technician, who is responsible for all areas relating to overhauling of surface and underground hydraulic components, including pumps, valves, motors, final drives, rotary heads and accumulators.
Primary Responsibilities:
As a Service Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
Strip, rebuild or modify components for jobs
Modification, rebuild and fabrication of drill components
Testing to ensure accuracy of fit and fault finding
Update job cards for parts used and report inadequate stock levels to your shop leading hand
Daily tasks as required across all service areas
Assemble kits according to company documentation
Troubleshooting service issues and when necessary escalating issues to relevant technical area for resolution
Focus on quality and continuous improvement
Adherence to company procedures and ensure workmanship is of a high quality
Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Mobile Plant or Light Vehicle Mechanic qualifications
Proficiency in machining operations, including lathe and mill operation, and fabrication skills.
Experience in rebuilding and modifying mechanical components.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Strong planning, organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team

Highly regarded but not essential:
Current Manual Drivers License (Desirable)

This is a technical role involving precision work, an eye for detail, mechanical aptitude and care and diligence. This position will require safe and responsible performance of all duties with the use of ProReman manuals, procedures and instructions. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of actives for ProReman and its associated group entities.
While the majority of your work will be carried out at our site located in Wacol, Brisbane however you may be required to visit customer''s premises for field work. We are open to reviewing candidtaes who have LV qualifications.
